Regulation appears to be a major hurdle for widespread adoption of cloud computing in the banking and financial services industry. Survey findings from IDC Financial Insights show that more than 60% of the respondents either stated that regulations have become less clear, or that there has been no change to their understanding of what is or is not allowed by regulators.
