Hong Kong hears Beijing and Guangdong out on cloud progress

While Beijing Cloud Valley aims to achieve, by 2015, a value of output of US$8b from IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, the Guangdong government plans to create a 'cloud computing industry' comprising IaaS, PaaS and SaaS valuing over US$16b.

Fujitsu invests US$30m in new China data center

With US$30 million investment, the new Fujitsu South China Data Centre will become Fujitsu's "first world-class data center in China." It has been listed in the "Guangdong Top 500" modern industrial projects that provide advanced IT support, and professional data storage solutions for the South China region.
