IT services company Atos and Chinese software maker Yonyou (formerly Ufida) formed a new strategic partnership to provide private cloud services in China and public cloud services in other Asia Pacific markets.

Following their joint venture Yunano formed in Nov 2011, Atos and Yonyou companies completed a proof of concept of Yonyou ERP over Atos cloud infrastructure in China, and have started running trials for customers.

In China, Atos and Yonyou intend to jointly create market-leading private cloud enterprise applications and services targeting at medium to large enterprise. Yonyou will offer its enterprise applications CRM (customer relationship management) and ERP (enterprise resource planning) in Asia under Canopy, a new Atos company which is expected to provide one-stop-shop enterprise applications in the cloud.
